While the athletes have been getting back into training, the coaching staff have been continuing with their professional development.
In the last few weeks the coaches have taken part in webinars focusing on:
Qualifying for the Hawaii Ironman in Kona;
Strength training for triathletes;
Nutrition for triathletes;
Inspiratory muscle training and it’s practical application;
Getting better at getting better – self-reflective practice as a coach.
They have attended workshops, seminars and conferences about:
Working with athletes with a learning disability;
Olympic weightlifting;
Working with elite performers;
ISENC Sport & Exercise Nutrition.
