My second South Central Series race and yet another stunning venue, This time Stowe, lovely setting, friendly welcome and the course looked good despite the miles of red and white race tape.

I still don’t really know too many people at these races but the ones I do know have been really friendly and welcoming.

The race got under way with a ladder type 300m swim from one lane to the next, 30 seconds between each swimmer, up into T1 and out onto the bike course, my bike leg was not the fastest but it kept me in touch, a good course for those that have good Cyclo Cross skills, flat but technical.

My run is coming along and I felt quite good, again not the fastest but good enough to get me a win on the day.
